T3 Partners visit the South Pacific

We’re back!  After a glorious week cruising the South Pacific the girls from T3 Partners are back on board the T3 Partners cruise ship.  A wonderful time was had by all, doing what we do best……. balancing business and life.

We departed Brisbane port on Sunday 10th of September and had a couple of days “cruising” on board the Sun Princess.  Plenty of fun was had exploring the ship and sipping cocktails by the pool.

Our first port of call was Noumea, the capital of the South Pacific archipelago and overseas French territory New Caledonia. Situated on the main island, Grand Terre, it’s known for beaches and its blend of French and native Kanak influences. The highlight of the visit was a zodiac boat ride to Duck Island via a very fast zodiac boat.  Lots of fun!

Day 2 on land was spent at the Isle of Pines.  This gem of southern New Caledonia quite rightly lays claim to the title of “the closest Island to paradise” with it’s long white sand beaches, unspoiled small islands, crystal clear turquoise waters, turtles, dolphins, manta rays & coral beds. Coralie and Fiona were lucky enough to get up close and personal with a loggerhead turtle and have a swim in the waters surrounding pristine Brush Island.

Our third and best day onshore was spent on Mystery Island, Vanuatu. The Island is a tiny, uninhabited islet in Vanuatu’s Tafea Province, officially charted under the indigenous name Inyeug. Other than an airstrip, built by United States Military personnel to serve the nearby island of Aneityum, Mystery Island only has a few huts for overnighters, modern amenities for cruise passengers and some trails that bisect the island.  This incredibly beautiful conglomeration of pure white sand, palm trees and coral reefs provides the perfect place to relax and unwind.  We all got to go glass bottom kayaking and snorkelling through the coral.  An absolutely fabulous day was had by all.

The last two days of the holiday were spent cruising home and enjoying all the facilities the Sun Princess had to offer.  From Art Auctions, to dancing, the day spa, hot spa tubs, world class theatrical productions, yoga, relaxing on the deckchairs with cocktails, eating , more eating and more cocktails.

Alas, the cruise has come to an end but we’re all looking forward to being back at the helm of T3 Partners, relaxed, refreshed and rejuvinated.

We’d thoroughly recommend a cruise to anyone looking for a holiday.  If you’d like to learn more about the trip and how to go about getting some help preparing for a cruise, please contact us today so that we can share our experience and most importantly our wonderful Travel Manager Annas details.
