Tax news – latest from the Australian Taxation Office for small business.

The Deadline for SuperStream is fast approaching

The ATO will be contacting small businesses with 19 or fewer employees about SuperStream from late March 2016 onwards. You may therefore receive an email, SMS, or letter from the ATO reminding you of the importance of getting ready for SuperStream by the 30 June 2016 deadline.  It’s at this time when all employers need to use SuperStream when paying super. This means paying super and sending employee information electronically in a standard format. This will result in a simpler process and more streamlined payments.  If you haven’t started paying your super using SuperStream, it’s important to get started soon.  Click here for webinar dates to help get you started or please feel free to contact us today to assist.
