When does the new pricing take effect?
These pricing changes will take effect from 4th February 2020. You will see this change on your first billing date after 4th February.
Prices for any QuickBooks Self-Employed and QuickBooks Online subscriptions that were purchased between 3 August 2019 and 3 February 2020 will remain the same for 6 months. In month 7 of your subscription, the price will increase in line with the table above
Why are prices increasing?
Since QuickBooks Online launch in Australia 6 years ago in 2013, this is the first time they have raised the price of Self-Employed and Simple Start. QuickBooks Online will continue to invest in the latest innovations to make running your business easier, such as the recent additions of Mileage Tracking, STP compliance in Payroll and 24/7 chat support from their multi award-winning team.
Can you change your plan?
Yes, you can downgrade or upgrade your subscription at any time. Simply visit the Billing and Subscription section of your account to view or change your current plan. PLEASE BE CAREFUL if you are thinking of doing this as downgrading can also mean you lose features you are currently using in the product. For more information, please contact us for a chat.
If you’re on Self-Employed, changes to your plan are not currently available.
I have a discounted subscription – will the price changes affect me?
If you are on a discount subscription/offer, QuickBooks will honour the discount until the end of the discount period. The new price will take effect on the first bill after your discount period has ended, post 4th February 2020.
